Today, Lifetime announced the return date for the once-dead series: the fifth season of 'Drop Dead Diva' will air on June 23. The title of the season premiere? "Back From the Dead." How appropriate.

BBC AMERICA has renewed highly acclaimed original series, Orphan Black, for a second season to return as part of Supernatural Saturday in 2014. The conspiracy clone thriller starring Tatiana Maslany has been re-commissioned with a 10-episode order from Temple Street Productions, ahead of its season one finale on Saturday, June 1.

CNN has announced that it will continue its relationship with Anthony Bourdain, as it has approved a second season of Parts Unknown. The second season of the show is scheduled to premiere on September 15 of this year.

HBO gives Veep a third season. A day after reporting near-record high ratings for a sophomore comedy, HBO gave the series a 10-episode third season which will be scheduled to air in 2014.

On the heels of its critically lauded, highly anticipated premiere last week, Sundance Channel announced the renewal of the network’s first wholly owned original scripted series “Rectify” for ten new episodes slated to air in 2014.

“Perception,” which is going into its second season on TNT, has been given one more episode, bringing it to 14 episodes. “Perception’s” second season begins June 25.

Season 2 of “Major Crimes” has been given four more episodes from the network, bringing it to 19 episodes.The “Closer” spinoff only had 10 episodes in its first season. Season two of “Major Crimes” debuts June 10

TNT has renewed the hit drama series Dallas for a third season. TNT has ordered 15 episodes for the third season, which will launch in early 2014. Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT stated that "Dallas has built a passionately loyal following with its expertly woven storylines, clever twists and turns, and numerous outstanding performances by a cast that spans generations."

For those fans still suffering from "Weeds" withdrawal, relief is just around the corner. Today, Netflix announced the official premiere date of creator Jenji Kohan's follow up series, "Orange Is The New Black." The new comedy drama, an adaptation of Piper Kerman's memoir of her time in a female prison, is set to premiere Thursday July 11th on the premium streaming service.

The Village has been renewed for a second series on BBC One.

The drama, which stars Maxine Peake and John Simm, will return with six more episodes next year following a successful debut last month.

BBC Three has ordered a fourth and final season of comedy series Him & Her. I will be called "The Wedding" and the entire season and will be set during Laura’s wedding. Six episodes have been commissioned, for broadcast in 2014.
The final season is written by Stefan Golaszew and the series is produced by Big Talk Productions and stars Russell Tovey and Sarah Solemani.

666 Park Avenue will get a chance to finish its first and only season in June. The remaining four unaired episodes will start being shown from June 22nd
