NBC has cancelled "Guys With Kids". Jimmy Fallon's produced freshman sitcom "Guys With Kids" won't be returning. The comedy finished its 17 episode inaugural season back in February, and not a peep has been heard since. That is until today, GWK suffered greatly from downright awful ratings, coming in dead last on almost every night it aired.

NBC has announced that it is cancelling "Up All Night" after two seasons. The plan was to change the series format from single-camera to multi-camera with a live audience. Before this could happen, series co-star Christina Applegate exited stage left. "Up All Night" was officially doomed from that moment on.

Parks and Recreations has today been Renewed by NBC for a sixth season. Parks has averaged a 2.0 rating this year among adults 18-49, making it one of NBC’s strongest Thursday night shows.

NBC has announced that it is cancelling mystery-thriller 'Deception' after a single season. 'Deception' was seen as NBC's answer to 'Revenge' over at ABC and never managed to shake it's pretender status. Critics lauded the first season, particularly the performance of star Meagan Good, but in the end it seems that was insufficient to convince the NBC brass to give 'Deception' a sophomore outing.

Fans of the ABC series 'Castle' rejoice! While there was never any doubt that the police dramedy would return for a sixth season, ABC is giving 'Castle' a rare two-season pick-up which will ensure the series survives until at least the close of season seven.

CBS picks up Chuck Lorre's "Mom" to series. The Eye network is expected to announce that it is picking up Mom, a multi-camera sitcom about a newly sober single mother trying to pull her life back together. Lorre wrote the script on spec with his associates Eddie Gorodetsky and Gemma Baker.

TNT has greenlit and ordered 10 episodes of "The Last Ship", which will air in 2014. The story opens with a global catastrophe that nearly decimates the world's population. Because of its positioning, the Navy destroyer U.S.S. Nathan James avoids falling victim to the devastating tragedy. But the crew and its captain must confront their new existence where they may be the only remaining survivors.

While Warwick Davis' HBO series "Life's Too Short" won't be returning for a new season, the premium network is bringing the series to a close with a one hour special finale. The special has already aired in the UK, but is set to premiere for US audiences July 7th on HBO.

The IT Crowd to return for One More episode, filming in the next few weeks
