After eight years, and thirteen seasons, A&E has made the decision to cut Intervention. The final five episodes of the season, which will air beginning on June 13, are being called some of the most “intense” and “gripping” stories to date. Addiction specialists Jeff Van Vonderen, Candy Finnigan and Donna Chavous are each returning in the final episodes of the season, along with Ken Seeley.

FX network's new series The Bridge has been given a premiere date, Wednesday, July 10 at 10 p.m. The Bridge is a thriller that will focus on border disputes between the U.S. and Mexico.

Docu-reality series Who Do You Think You Are has found new life on TLC a year after being cancelled by NBC. Eight one-hour long episodes of the series have been ordered and production is underway just in time for a July 23 premiere. The new season will feature family history seeking celebs such as Christina Applegate, Cindy Crawford, Zooey Deschanel and Chris O’Donnell.

Luther's four-episode third season has just received an official premiere date from BBC America. Luther's third series will air four days in a row on the network, from September 3-6th. The show's third series will feature actress Sienna Guillory as Luther's new love interest, though the plot for series 3 is being kept under tight wraps.

BBC Three today announced a second season renewal for Dominic Mitchell’s drama, In The Flesh, following a successful three-part serial earlier this year. Season two will revisit the cauldron of Roarton where the living and the undead have reached a fragile peace. In The Flesh will film later this year and transmit in 2014 on BBC Three.

Though CBS's upfront presentations were a week ago, the network has decided to give a late pick-up to new series Bad Teacher, whose pilot had been presumed dead after the show didn't receive an early pick-up. Instead, it looks like Bad Teacher will go to series after all, though we'll probably have to wait until spring 2014 to see it.

BBC officially confirmed, via their blog, that Doctor Who has been commissioned for an eighth season! The shows lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat broke the news, saying, “We’re delighted to confirm a new series of Doctor Who has been commissioned and we are already plotting a brand new run of adventures for the Doctor.” Matt Smith has also been confirmed to return as The Doctor.

CBS has added a new regular cast member for the upcoming ninth and final season of its hit series How I Met Your Mother. Viewers who caught the season eight finale already know who it is, as Cristin Milioti's unnamed character (who also happens to be THE Mother in the title that Ted has been chasing for years now) has officially moved to part of the regular rotation on the program.

HBO has seen the latest comedy pilot from Mike Judge and they like what they see: 'Silicon Valley' has been picked up to series at the network. Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, who all worked together on Judge's animated smash hit series 'King of the Hill', got the team together again to write and produce a dark comedy set in the world of IT professionals.

Syfy's "Warehouse 13" has experienced a bit of a rollercoaster year. Riding high from the network's recent season four expansion from 13 episodes to 20, it seemed a near certainty that the top rated adventure series would return. However, in a classic good news/bad news situation, Syfy announced that it has given the greenlight to a fifth season. Unfortunately, season five will be its last.

Amazon Studios has opted to pass the series adaptation of 2009 film "Zombieland.""Zombieland" was among its higher profile pilots and seemed a shoo-in for an eventual series order. However, the pilot received mixed reviews after being made available for free streaming on the website

Death In Paradise will return for its third series in early 2014. Sadly, Ben Miller's character, DI Richard Poole will be written out of the show. Kris Marshall joins the cast as DI Humphrey Goodman.

CBS' "Person of Interest" just got a lot more interesting. The suspense drama announced today that Sarah Shahi would be upgraded to a series regular when the series returns for its third season this fall. Shahi has appeared on the high concept series in several episodes during its second season, portraying Samantha Shaw, a former Marine turned operative.

The British Broadcasting Corporation is reaching across the Atlantic Ocean for new content for BBC 3. The network announced that it will air BBC America and Space's Orphan Black in the United Kingdom. The series, which is developed by Canadian independent producer Temple Street Productions, was recently picked up for a second season, with 10 episodes ordered.

Kiefer Sutherland is reprising the role of Jack Bauer in a new series of 24. Fox announced the return of the series which will be titled 24: Live Another Day.

The new series will not contain 24 episodes as previous seasons did, Instead there will only be 12 episodes. The plot will still span 24hrs over a shortened period of 12 episodes. The new series is expected to air May 2014.
