An attempt by the Walt Disney Company to return Zorro to live-action TV, but this time as a comedy. Using most of the same costumes and sets as the original 1957-61 series. Zorro/Don Diego de la Vega (Henry Darrow who was the voice of Zorro in the 1981 animated version) is needed again. Don Diego feels he is too old. He recruits his reluctant son Don Carlos (Paul Regina). Thus comedy ensues?
