Blue-Eyes White Dragon stops the solar eclipse, but is defeated by Zorc, submitting to darkness. Kaiba takes over and summons Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, which is equal to Zorc. Meanwhile, Yugi successfully defeats Dark Bakura with Gandora, the Dragon of Destruction. The Pharaoh becomes Black Luster Soldier and fuses with Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, becoming Master of Dragon Knight. Master of Dragon Knight is destroyed by its own attack and the Pharaoh is seemingly defeated, but Yugi and his friends fly to him.
