TALK Yes, Minister (UK) (Give your review)

mekon Dec 9, 2007 10:25AM	This is one of the funniest, and also most accurate, depictions of life on the inside of the political machine. The episodes concern a permanent secretary (professional civil servant) trying to manipulate his minister (political master). He often tries to bamboozle him with streams of eloquent but meaningless words and phrases. Low key, understated but nonetheless, hilarious, it is funnier than the successor show, "Yes Prime Minister".	+2
bissellgr Aug 4, 2007 10:26AM	Must be one of the best comedy shows ever! Rare exception for a UK show in that it was always well written and acted. Never resorted to 'cheap' or clumsy humour.	+0
