The "new" Xena kills less often than then "old" Xena, but still quite often. In this episode, Xena kills the Chinese executioner with the telekinetic powers she learned from Lao Ma, turning him into human pin cushion with various pointy objects. The "new" Xena's body-count after this episode is 79. Gabrielle's body-count after this episode remains at 1.
The "new" Xena kills less often than then "old" Xena, but still quite often. In this episode, Xena kills the Chinese executioner with the telekinetic powers she learned from Lao Ma, turning him into human pin cushion with various pointy objects. Finally, off-screen, she plunges her hair pin into the side of Ming T'ien's head and tells Gabrielle that he's not dead. To the viewer, the final shot is ambiguous: Ming is either paralyzed or dead.
