At a magic school, teenage girls (Bloom, Flora, Musa, Stella, and Tecna; later Layla too) form 'The Winx Club' in order to defend the universe of Alfea from dark forces. Through the seasons, they together discover new transformations, unlock secrets and powers, battle against the darkness and support Bloom as she tries to discover her past.

Nickelodeon decided to co-produce fifth and sixth season that will air in Febuary, 2012. Network prepared four one-hour specials that summarize first two seasons. The first special aired June 27, 2011.
