Danny Masterson and Christopher Masterson, who play the brothers Josh and James Roland, are also real life brothers.
The name Tycho Brahe alias used in this episode is possibly a reference to one of the the two main characters featured on the penny arcade website by the same name.
In this episode Mozzie references two authors: Scott Turow (Presumed Innocent) and Dan Brown (The DaVinci Code). Both are Amherst College alumni.
