What's My Line? (1950) tv show photo

A panel of four celebrities tried to guess the occupation of the guest by asking a series of yes or no questions. The guest got $5 for each "no" answer. Panelists were blindfolded for the weekly mystery guest who was a celebrity. Some famous folks who dropped by: Warren Beartty, James Cagney, Bette Davis, Ty Cobb,Walt Disney, Ronald Reagan, Alfred Hitchock and Elizabeth Taylor.

  • Arlene wore a fancy Christmas season blindfold mask for the Mystery Guest segment that was glittered and featured a curled, gilded stalk with gilded flowers on the left side of her head.
  • To celebrate that the telecast took place on Easter Sunday night, the panel wore bunny masks, complete with ears and whiskers, in place of their usual blindfolds for the Mystery Guest segment.
