After positive urine test, Nancy needs to attend eight sessions of anti-drug classes ran by Shelby Keene, ex pot smoker and sales woman. Nancy is warned that if she uses weeds again, she’ll go right back to jail.
While other girls shared theirs drug dealing experience, Nancy used this opportunity to gather more information. She wrote on a paper plate ‘Get Magne, The Witch Doctor’ as a one of the girls noted him as the best dealer.
Across the town, Shane is trying to find a cheap apartment close to the halfway house. Doug is preparing to visit his friend on Wall Street. Silas is still mad at his mother and he is convinced that they should leave NY and get back to Denmark.
At the halfway house, Shane and Andy came to visit Nancy. Shane tells her about his ex girlfriend Renata, a 34 years old baby-crazy puppeteer. He shows pictures of his marionettes and tells a back-story of every one of them. Nancy is more that stunned by her family’s new life. Andy tells her that they are planning to stay in NY. She thinks that, instead of finding a new job, Shane should go to collage.
At the modeling agency, Silas Guinard has a meeting with new innovative artist, Maxeen, who offers him 2000 dollars for one night gig. He is surprised by her generous offer.
Andy and Shane are looking at first apartment. It’s big, cheep, unfinished and looks like a dump.
