  • Goof (factual errors): Artie credits the invention of the television to "Philo Farnsworth" in around 1929. The communicators named after him in the show are not thick enough to use cathode ray technology.

  • Goof (errors in geography): When Pete stabs Radburn, a beam of light shoots vertically from underground into the sky, apparently quite near and to the right of the Empire State Building. The dig site is supposed to be on the Lower East Side, just south of the Williamsburg Bridge, and away from the subway lines. The only possible area this could be would be near the East River, way downtown of the Empire State Building. Looking at the Empire State Building from any direction would make it impossible for the beam of light to be so close to it. It would be impossible from the south, because the Empire State Building is north of the Lower East Side, impossible from the east, because the Empire State Building is west of the Lower East Side, impossible from the north, because the Lower East Side would be to the left, not the right, of the Empire State Building, and impossible from the west, because, even though the Lower East Side would be to the right of the Empire State Building, the beam of light is too close to the building for such a direct frontal shot to be accurate.
  • Goof (errors in geography): In the exterior shot of the "St. Louis" police station, when Myka is going into the building, we pan across a view of the skyline in the background, in which the CN Tower in Toronto is clearly visible in the left background. St. Louis has no similar building.

  • Goof (factual errors): At 39m:39s when Artie lets go of the sword, it's quite visibly 'wobbling', yet considering it's age and the amount of times it's been folded, the last thing it would do is bend in any way.

  • Goof (factual errors): When MacPherson obtains the tsuba for the Masamune, he clearly slides the tsuka (handle, plus braid, and pummel) off the katana and places the tsuba back on the sword, sliding the tsuka right back on and 'clicks' it. This would be impossible since there are 2 mekugi (pegs) that have to be hammered out of the handle to remove it and then hammered back in to keep the handle in place. MacPherson just slid the handle right back on, meaning it would just slide right off the tang of the blade when swinging it.
  • Goof (continuity error): The tsuba box jumps from the table to under Dickinson's arm as he talks with Pete and Myka about Artie.
  • Goof (continuity error): At the end of this episode, after Myka is returned from the mirror, Artie and Pete cover it with a blanket. Artie then directs Pete to move a trunk in front of the mirror to secure it, but in doing so, the truck pulls down the blanket. In the next shot, as they quickly re-cover the mirror from a different angle, the trunk is completely missing, but in the following shot, as they walk away, the trunk is back in front of the mirror again.

In Season 1 Episode 4 during a flashback vision of Artie's, you notice Joshua stating that Claudia forgets how to be a 10 year old girl. It's also noted that Joshua has been missing for 12 years which would put Claudia at 22 years old.

But when Leena unbronzes H.G. Wells, she doesn't bother to disguise herself again - and when Pete and Myka realize two people were unbronzed, they don't bother to use the security camera.
  • Goof (plot holes): In the first season finale, Leena uses Harriet Tubman's thimble to disguise herself as Claudia when debronzing MacPherson so the security cameras couldn't identify her. However, in "Time Will Tell", she debronzes H.G. Wells without the thimble and looking normal; how did Artie and the other agents miss this when going over the security footage?

Conventional resistors, rheostats, and varistors have two contacts, and potentiometers have three. No device that fits the description "resistor" has four contacts.
