Summary: Attempting to keep her mind off Logan, Veronica takes a job helping animal researchers track down a monkey missing from their laboratory. In order to find the missing animal, Veronica and Mac go undercover as members of an on-campus animal rights group, believed to have freed the monkey. Meanwhile, Mindy O'Dell asks Keith to investigate Dean O'Dell's death because she believes he was murdered.

The episode's title is a play on the quote "Show me the Money!" from Jerry Maguire (1996).
SPOILER: The character who is eventually revealed to have stolen the monkey from the lab is named "Gil Thomas Pardy." As Gil T. Pardy, his name is a homonym for the words "guilty party," which reveals his culpability from his first introduction.
The monkey in “Show Me the Monkey” also played the monkey Marcel in the TV show Friends.
