Summary: A campus football player hires Veronica to help him recover a stolen playbook before the next practice, or risk losing his scholarship. Veronica is threatened with expulsion when she won't reveal to Dean O'Dell one of her sources from the article Veronica wrote about the campus sorority. Logan tells Veronica his schedule is keeping them apart, but she realizes he has been spending time participating in illegal gambling. We get to see the first of Weevil this season when Veronica convinces Keith to hire him to assist with office work at Mars Investigations.
