Summary: Recalling the overwhelming events of her summer, including the capture of Lilly's murderer, Logan falling under suspicion of murder when one of Weevils biker buddies gets killed, and the chaos that surrounded his trial that pushed her back into the arms of Duncan, Veronica is determined to settle into "normal" life. She gets a new after-school job and returns to the popular fold at Neptune High, but she gets pulled back into the investigation business when her best friend Wallace is kicked off the basketball team for testing positive for drugs.Keith sits down with reporter Julie Chen to discuss his new book on the Lilly Kane murder, "Big Murder, Small Town." After the difficult summer Logan has had he seeks refuge from the paparazzi and relaxes pool-side at the Casablanca's mansion with buddies Dick and "Beaver" and their sexy stepmother Kendall.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FACT: When Keith is interviewed on television, the news crawl refers to "malnutritioned" Ugandan tribes. The correct word is "malnourished".
CREW: When Veronica is talking to Weevil at the gas station, the film crew is reflected in Weevil's helmet. You can see the camera, a boom mic, and two large white reflectors set up behind the camera.
FAKE: When Veronica takes a flash picture at 12:08, the flash is not enabled on her camera. The pulse of light was added as a visual effect.
CONT: Woody Goodman is running for "mayor" of Neptune. In later episodes he is running for "county supervisor."

TRIVIA

Jason Dohring and Ryan Hansen improvised a crude hand gesture widely known as "The Shocker" during the pool scene. While the act slipped by the censors, it was unable to be edited out of broadcast because Jason Dohring did the gesture for every take.
