Summary: After the apparent kidnapping of Neptune High's beloved mascot, Polly the Parrot, Veronica is hired to track her down and get her back. Her detective work leads her to go undercover at a rival school on the eve of a big basketball game. Veronica has an emotional reunion with her mother who she has not seen sense her mother left the family the year before. When Veronica’s suspicions about the Kane family are renewed Veronica attempts to get her hands on her father's original interrogation tapes of Lilly’s murder. Veronica’s love life also seems to be getting renewed as Veronica’s relationship with Deputy Leo heats up.
