Damon Salvatore: So this is where you spend your time when you're not stabbing people in the back.
Elena Gilbert: I tricked you into telling the truth. That's not stabbing you in the back. It's using your own tactics against you.
Damon Salvatore: Where are you going?
Elena Gilbert: I've made myself clear Damon, I want nothing to do with you. [Leaves the table]
Damon Salvatore: Ok. See you at Jenna's barbecue.
Elena Gilbert: [Turns around surprised] How do you know about Jenna's barbecue?
Damon Salvatore: It was my idea. Jenna went to high school together with Mason Lockwood, so I figured a social gathering would be a good way to get to know the guy. So I told Rick to tell Jenna and... [interupted]
Elena Gilbert: Does Jenna know you're going to be there? 'Cause she's not exactly a fan of yours.
Damon Salvatore: [to waitress with Damon's Peach Combo] Perfect. Thankyou. [to Elena] I'm hoping this Peach Combo will pave the way. [Gets up from table]
Elena Gilbert: What are you up to?
Damon Salvatore: I'm gonna put some silver into Mason Lockwood and prove that he's a werewolf. See you at the barbecue. [Smirks]
