V: The Second Generation

This mini-series take up 25 years after the original 1983 Movie. The story was about aliens that land on earth and look, walk, talk and act exactly like humans however under their skin was really reptilian scales. They claim that they want to help with their advanced technology, but some humans didn't believe them and formed small colonies of vigilantes to prove the aliens were up to no good.

V: The Second Generation is a novel written by American TV writer/producer Kenneth Johnson. In 2008, Warner Bros (who hold the TV rights to the V franchise) have since opted to remake V from scratch, with a script written by Scott Peters, thus ending Johnson's plans for "The Second Generation" ever being made. The pilot of the remake aired on ABC on November 3, 2009.
