  • Episode 03 - Goof (anachronisms): When the radio is switched on for the King's Abdication speech, the dial light turns on and sound is heard instantly. In the 1930's radios did not switch on instantly - they had valves which required a minute or so to "warm up". (The filaments in them needed to become virtual
  • Episode 01 - Goof (revealing mistake): The bath that drops down into the vestibule is clearly made of plastic, not cast iron. Firstly a cast iron one would most likely have smashed on landing. Secondly you can see light shining through it. Thirdly when Ivy is fooling around in it, you can hear it is plastic when she touches it
  • Episode 01 - Goof (anachronisms): The story takes place in 1936, but while Sir Hallam Holland and his wife wait on the station platform to join the boat train a 'British Railways' poster can be seen behind them. British Railways, as an organisation, didn't come into being until 1st January 1948.
