Season 3 Quotes

03x08 - The Bolter Season 3 / Episode 8: - The Bolter

Mrs. Cochrane-Danby: Oh, Bunny, you just missed your wife practically seducing James in public.
Bunny Newbury: [Self-deprecatingly] Wouldn't be the first time.
Lord Charles Gilmour: [Lowly to Natalie] Or the last!
03x01 - Miss Forrest Season 3 / Episode 1: - Miss Forrest

Richard Bellamy: What on earth is that noise?
Hazel Forrest: It's a gramophone, I think, Mr. Bellamy. Coming from upstairs.
Richard Bellamy: Must be my son. He's keen on the latest ragtime music, this dreadful syncopated jazz. Like everything else from America, it's too fast, too noisy!

Season 3 Trivia

  • Episode 13 - Goof (anachronisms): On the eve of World War I TV aerials can be seen from the open air theatre at Herne Bay along with a halogen floodlight and an extra wearing contemporary (1970s) spectacles.
  • Episode 11 - Goof (revealing mistake): Rose and Gregory are supposedly being jostled in the cab, but the fringes and the tassel of the blinds are not moving revealing that the jostling effect is being created by the camera being shaken.
  • Episode 09 - Miss Georgina has a teddy bear which she says she has had since she was 7. As she has just turned 18 the chronology means that she has had the bear since November 1903 at the latest. This would make her the owner of one of the first teddy bears, which didn't go into production until that year.
