The series is about Jennie Malloy who got tired of her life as it was and divorced her husband Jack. She got almost everything in the divorce settlement and he was forced to live in a shabby apartment with his only friend, Mr. Floppy. Mr. Floppy was a stuffed rabbit who "talked" to Jack and kept him company, as the kids in the family were very self-centered.
