Ugly Betty

Sometimes the roles seem reversed with Betty’s big sister, Hilda but they’re still really close. Betty is the responsible one and Hilda has the big personality. A single mother to Justin, she admits being a little jealous of Betty’s glamorous single life and career. Hilda failed at several careers before finding her calling while styling hair at a Mode fashion show. She now runs a salon out her home in Queens.

Hilda dream in life is to become a hairdresser for celebrities and in Season 2 she sets up her own little hairdresser's bar in the family house in Queens.

Hilda is very upset when Santos is shot at the end of Season 1 and he ends up O.K but in Season 2 he dies and Hilda is left devasted.

After greving over Santos she starts to date Tony Diaz (Justin's gym teacher) but then he tells her he is married and he might be falling for her, she tells him to go and she moves on.

After breaking up with Tony, she started dating Archie Rodriquez, a Queens politician running to become Mayor.

While dating Archie, Hilda was reacquitted with an old flame, Bobby, who she later fall in love with, again, and reignite their affair.

Archie would later find out about Hilda and Bobby, and eventually break up with her, giving her the freedom to get with Bobby officially.

Shortly into their relationship, Hilda fell pregnant by Bobby, and she would hestitate in telling Bobby (i.e. her pregnancy with Justin, and her then boyfriend Santos.)
