  • Episode 01 - The scene here Alan and Charlie drink, at the sound of a bell, in the bar is called Pavlov's. Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov used classical conditioning to train a dog, just as Alan and Charlie responded to the bell, by drinking a shot.
  • Episode 02 - To open this episode, Charlie sits at the piano with Jake and plays the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme. In real life, producer Chuck Lorre composed that theme.
  • Goof (continuity error): When Charlie is talking to Jake on the deck whilst having breakfast, the bottle of beer that Charlie placed on the table changes positions during the conversation that he is having with Jake.
  • Episode 18 - Goof (continuity error): When Charlie is talking with Bill/Jill in the bar the second time, Bill/Jill picks up his beer bottle, leans back and takes a swig. When the shot returns to Charlie, the beer is on the table again.
  • Episode 12 - The title refers to the filtered tip brand of Camel cigarettes that was introduced by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco in 1913 and is famous for the package design that used a camel named 'Old Joe'.
