Charlie Harper is a well-to-do bachelor with a house at the beach, a Mercedes in the garage and an easy way with women. His casual Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his tightly wound brother, Alan, and Alan's son, Jake, come to stay with him. Despite the complexities of their lives and their own strained relationship, Charlie and Alan have one thing in common: They both love Jake and want what's best for him. As a result, they manage to create a little family unit that promises to make each one of them a better man.

TV’s #1 comedy pulls a hilarious switcheroo when Charlie’s fiancée Chelsea meets a doctor (score one) who’s generous, thoughtful and mature (score three more). She vamooses, and Charlie – after pickling himself in booze and self-pity – handles the situation in typical Charlie fashion. Which means lots of laughs for Men fans. But Charlie isn’t the only Harper making cement-headed decisions. Alan decides the only thing that separates him from a love god is hair. So he tries the spray-on variety. And Jake decides what he needs to navigate the perilous waters of teenage dating is advice. From Charlie.

Televisions #1 comedy celebrates five seasons of funny with big laughs and hilarious new storylines. Charlie (Charlie Sheen) tops the charts as kiddie-song sensation Charlie Waffles. Alan (Jon Cryer) at last meets the perfect woman who just happens to be dating Charlie. Jake (Angus T. Jones) starts junior high, armed with reams of “helpful” advice from Alan and Charlie. Evelyn (Holland Taylor) ties the knot for the fifth time (lots of guests at the wedding, lots of cops at the reception). And as always, Berta (Conchata Ferrell) deals with it all by dealing out a royal flush of deadpan zingers. The guys are in and the welcome mat is out at everyones favorite Malibu beach house. Have a great time!

Then his uptight brother Alan, in the throes of a divorce, moves in - and brings his 10-year-old son Jake with him. Sorry, Charlie. It looks like paradise lost.
