Just love it!! I can barely stand waiting a week for the next episode because they end with such mystery. Sex, drugs, and the walking dead, haha. Plain awesome. |

Excellent show, leaving you hanging at the end of each episode. A little explicit at times, but it's on Showtime :). Good mix of mythology, action, drama, and even romance. Looking forward to the second season |

The gritty reality of this show is addictive, thick with intense plots and never short of raw characters. The realm of vampires merging into the present day life of Sookie concocts an atmosphere unlike that of any previous vampire flick or Prime Time drama. Epic. |

As a vampire fanatic, I instantly gravitated to this show and am glad to say that I have not yet been disappointed. The modern vampire mythology is followed fairly closely without causing the show to swing towards a horror. And although Sookie can be quite annoying at times, her bubbly personality only serves to accent not only the difference between the two groups but also the difference in time between her and Bill, the present and the past. To me, this is a fabulous show that combines the mystical, somewhat romantic, past with the technological, and sometimes all too logical, present. |

It has been a long time since a good vampire show. I love vampire storys so im allways in the look for something in the genre to watch. I watched the recently cancelled Moondlight (wich was no good) and Blood Ties (wich was so boring to me that i never fineshed the first episode). But True Blood its diferrent and you can see it from the very first second. The opening title "Bad things" by Jace Everett with its country sound to it, but also with a little rock feel mixed with some greath south land images of wild animals, country side houses and exorcisims at night in the middle of a lake... it just goes perfect with the idea of the show. At first the idea of having psychic powers on top of the hole vampire thing i toght it would be a little too much, but its actualy a well used resource. The idea of having vampires not just as monsters but as "regular" people walking around drinking this new japanese fake blood its just great, haves lot of potencial for good episodes. Soo, dont miss it, if you like vampires shows you wont be disapointed, if you dont have a look anyways because is a trhilling ride. |

Vampire series my favorites. And this seems to be even better than moonlight, because here the vampires have more power, and abilities. |

I watched the pre-air, and thought it needed some work. I watched the official premier...and I think it still needs some work. The storyline is great, but the acting just doesn't do it justice. I am not ready to stop watching it though, as I do see potential for a really good series. |

I saw a pre-screen of the first episode, and after that I was very excited. It looks like a promising premise with some good characters and a chance of interesting interplay. One I'll make a point of watching. |

Got a sneak peak at the first episode. It sparked intrigue in both of us. I can wait to see where it goes from here. Vampires can so often be portrayed in away that makes them seem cheesy and fake, this show has a much rawer approach. The characters and plot already seem developed, so rare in shows these days. |

After watching the unfinished screener of the pilot I am sold on this show, they seem to be treating the premise with respect and from the brief look at the setting you can see that there will be plenty there to keep us interested. Definitely one to watch |

Again another new series based on a book. I've read the books they're good. The stories feature a small-town waitress-turned-paranormal sleuth Sookie Stackhouse. It will be interesting to see if they stick to the book characters. |
