Summary: While taking care of dazed Eric, Sookie will again find herself in the middle of the big but romantic trouble. Under direct orders from Nan, Bill has to fix the necromancy crisis. Pam suffers consequences after her encounter with witches. Sam becomes Tommy's accomplice by helping him to cover up his crime. Arlene and Terry will turn to religion for answers. Jesus and Lafayette decide to go to Mexico in search of advice and great shaman's power. Jason is finally home, but that won't be easy for him.

At trailer park, Tommy was bonding with his mother, Melinda when his father, Joe Lee shoved up and attacked him from the back. Melinda lied about leaving her husband and now Joe Lee is determined to teach his son obedience and loyalty. Joe Lee putted chain around Tommy’s neck and started to drag him around. Tommy tried to defend himself but without any results. As he had no other option, he pretended to passed out.

As his parents walked away, Tommy grabs a chain and starts choking Joe Lee. Two of them struggled, but as Tommy was overpowering him Melinda stepped up to defend her husband. Tommy snatches a pipe from Melinda and continues hitting Joe Lee to death. During this fight, he accidentally hits Melinda and she falls on the ground. Afraid that he killed her too, Tommy runs to his mother and starts crying while holding her lifeless body.

In the woods, Marnie was regaining her conciseness unaware of recent events. She starts to explain that spirit that possessed her actually saved theirs lives, but Lafayette was too angry to listen to her. They are in even bigger danger after injuring Pam. Lafayette, Jesus and Tara decide to leave Marnie in the woods and make their own plan.

Arlene is freaking out about the writing on the wall and she is certain that Rene Lenier’s ghost wrote that as a warning that he is coming back for his son, Mikey. Terry is not sure that he believes in ghosts, but he decides to turn to God for help.

At Sookie’s house, Eric was watching her sleep when Godric appeared before him. He didn’t recognize him and when Godric began to touch and sniff Sookie's body, Eric ordered him to stop. Godric tries to convince him to drain Sookie and walk with him on the sun. Eric resisted at first, but Godric explains that vampires are creatures of death - damned and incapable of love. They both dropped their fangs and started to bite Sookie.
