At that moment, as a product of Eric’s subconscious, Godric appears. He tells Eric to forgive Russell and end the hate while he still can. But, Eric craves for revenge that he promised to his father.
Jason Stackhouse: Is that so? Cuz I see a lot of people who look dirty, and hungry, and kids who probably ain't in school. And several people obviously got dental problems.
Sookie Stackhouse: Oh, this ought to be good.
Russell Edgington: I will give you my word that I will not harm you or anyone you love.
Sookie Stackhouse: Steppin' around the fact that your word is worth about as much as tits on a turtle, what else?
Russell Edgington: One million dollars.
Sookie Stackhouse: Five.
Russell Edgington: Two.
Sookie Stackhouse: Seven.
Russell Edgington: O.K. Five.
Sookie Stackhouse: And what else?
Russell Edgington: I will kill Eric Northman and Bill Compton, both. Or neither. Or just one of your choosing.
Sookie Stackhouse: Both, and your house in Mississippi. I like that house.
Russell Edgington: Done.
Sookie Stackhouse: What do I have to do in return?
Russell Edgington: Release me!

- Goof (anachronisms): As Maxine Fortenberry buys a rifle, in the background there is a picture of President Barack Obama. This show currently takes place in July 2008, Obama was still a Senator in Illinois.
- Goof (plot holes): Eric tells Sookie that the night she met Bill, he let the Rattrays beat Sookie so that he could feed her his blood. However, the beating in question was the night AFTER they met.
- Goof (revealing mistake): When Sookie puts the silver chain on Russel's neck and pulls him inside, the chain hangs loose revealing she is not really pulling him by the chain.
