Episode Quotes

Optimus Prime: No more games, Rodimus! Innocent lives are at stake!
Rodimus Prime: No one is innocent!
Autobot Elder: The plague you speak of has visited us once before. A wise man was able to contain the spores, and shoot them into a sun. The only way to fight such madness is with wisdom. But no *ONE* person now has the wisdom to contain the spores, much less destroy them now that they are spread across the galaxy.
Optimus Prime: Perhaps there does exist a source of wisdom powerful enough to destroy the spores, and save the galaxy. The accumulated wisdom that resides within the Matrix!
Galvatron: There will be no war today, Optimus Prime. You have earned Galvatron's respect.

Mistakes/Goofs

  • Goof (plot holes): If the substance they coat Optimus Prime with is so resistant to external effects as the characters claim, how did they melt it into a liquid in the first place?
  • Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Galvatron states as a fact that Autobots, as a rule, cannot fly. While this rule has become accepted since then, in earlier episodes, Autobots were shown to be capable of flight.
  • Goof (continuity error): As the Autobots are discussing all that has happened, Prime turns gray for a moment. By this time, his protective paint has either worn off, or he has been painted over with his true colors.
