Mistakes/Goofs
- Goof (plot holes): Skyfire flies back from South America to the Autobot base in North America, picks them up and flies all the way back, yet during all this time, the Decepticons who were already headed for the relatively close-by mining town haven't reached there yet.
- Goof (continuity error): Soundwave was last seen at the mining town battle, but suddenly pops up outside the temple to send Ravage after Bumblebee and the humans.
- Goof (continuity error): As Brawn confronts Starscream and Thundercracker, the Decepticons switch places between shots.
- Goof (continuity error): When Windcharger flees from Laserbeak, he is drawn like his toy, instead of his cartoon animation model. You can tell, since the back of his car mode is incorrectly aligned with the hood, which was a common issue with his toy.
- Goof (miscellaneous): The parts of Skyfire's tail end that light up as he activates his jets don't actually correspond to his jet thrusters.
Trivia
- The DVD release by Rhino included an unfinished test footage of the episode instead of the finished reel, and thus the episode is plagued by many serious animation or coloring errors. This DVD has become so common that some might think the original TV broadcast had just as many errors, however that is not the case.
- The name of Luisa, the Peruvian girl who helps the Autobots in this episode, is not spoken, but is written in the episode script.
- As Bumblebee get embarrassed and says "Aww, shucks!", his whole car frame bends and then pops back into its original shape. This is not an animation error, but a seldom seen moment where the characters are animated in a comically cartoony fashion.
