Summary: Starscream has made an alliance with Dr.Arkeville and he use his time-bomb which will explode in 8 hours and destroy the entire Earth. The Autobots and the Decepticons race to Arkeville's secret lab in order to find the traitors ,but soon they realize that they must work together in order to stop the bomb.

MISTAKES/GOOFS
- CONT: The damage caused to Megatron's chest by the exponential generator disappears after he leaves the lab. His Decepticon emblem is also missing for one shot.
- CONT: In the beginning, when Megatron returns and there is a shot of Decepticons standing in front of him, Skywarp's chest is colored black.
- PLOT: The explosion from the exponential generator is supposed to be powerful enough to destroy the Earth, and yet the actual explosion is so small, all it does is knock Starscream out of his path.
- FAKE: When Laserbeak flies into Soundwave's cassette holder, it briefly becomes blue like the rest of Soundwave's body, but during the close-up, its coloring changes to Laserbeak's red-and-white.
- FAKE: During the reconstruction scene, there's a brief shot with two Brawns, one handing the other a concrete block. In the next shot, one of them has turned into Gears.
TRIVIA
- Dr. Arkeville reappears as a main character for this episode, adding a bit of needed continuity to the cartoon, as he was also a major character in the previous three episodes (previous, according to the story, not to the actual airings).
- First appearance of Frenzy, though the identical-looking Rumble has already been using his actual blue-purple color-scheme since the start of the series. Frenzy, in turn received Rumble's original, red/black colors.
