Summary: Monica helps a mother, Liz, whose a journalist, and her daughter, Sydney, whose relationship has been torn because of Liz's drinking problem. Monica discovers that Liz began drinking to try to fit in with her male counterparts. One day, while Sydney's daughter Beth, whose been forbidden by her mother to see Liz, is over playing at Liz's house, Liz accidentally sets the house on fire with a cigarette when she falls asleep, leaving Monica to save Beth, and Liz completely unaware of what has happened. Later, Monica reveals herself to Liz, and tells her that she is the one who saved Beth by carrying her out of the fire, and with Sydney's help, convinces her to get help and counseling at the New Hope Center.
