Summary: Toshiko finds herself developing feelings for a soldier who is trapped out of his time zone. The world's future ends up being in his hands. A crisis that Torchwood foresaw 90 years ago is about to reach its climax at an old haunted hospital. With time zones colliding it's down to the team to try and save the world.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: When Tosh and Tommy are on the boardwalk, Tosh drops her bag twice while Tommy is holding her.
FACT: Like most popular media, this script refers to the process of keeping someone frozen to extend their life as "cryogenics", rather than "cryonics", the correct term. "Cryogenics" refers to techniques or systems/material for *producing* ultra-low temperatures; "cryonics" is the science of *using* ultra-low temperatures.

TRIVIA

While Jack rounds off the number to an even 300 and makes the implication that all were shell-shocked and shot for cowardice, during WWI 306 British & Empire servicemen were executed, shot at dawn by firing squad, following courts martial for military offenses under the British Army Act: alleged acts of cowardice, desertion, sleeping at post, casting away arms and disobedience, between 1914 and 1918.
