I am not a car fan but this show is making me one. Its not just about cars. These guys are funny and do some crazy things. When someone suggested the show to me on Netfix I was not interested. They suggested I start watching the series backwards. After 3 shows I was hooked.I had to start on S01x01. I love this show. The last show of each season is a road trip somewhere in the world.If you are thinking about watching. I would suggest that you pick one of the last shows of any given season and give it a try. |

Top Gear is about three lads faffing about, bringing to life with wit and humour news, reviews and views on the latest cars on the market. With The Stig ( Hiss! Boo!! to Ben Collins for revealing his identity as the Man Behind The White Helmet!!) as the tame racing driver testing the cars around the Top Gear Track, Hamster, Clarkson and Captain Slow get to see how fast each new car ( and model ) compares to previous cars and models. While some car shows give you boring details about R.P.M's, duco colours, accessories etc, the boys have fun and generally cause as much mayhem as possible. With Clarksons' flair for comedy, Hamsters' eagerness and Captain Slows' gullibility Top Gear has emerged from their 30-40 audience members per ep in the early years( 2002-2004) to several hundred per ep in later years. Excellent motoring show with lots of fun and games guest petrol heads and a few captain slow immitators........... oh and of course a few nice cars too. Shame the seasons are so short. |
