Goof (factual errors): Catherine Eddowes was murdered on September 30, 1888, not on November 7, as the team's record said.
Goof (factual errors): It is stated that Sir William Gull died six months after November 1888. However, in reality, he died on January 29, 1890.
Goof (factual errors): When the guy in the bowling alley is killed, the shooter is behind a wall and would not have been able to make the shot. He walks into line of sight in the following scene.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The motorcycle riders are debating man and machine at the beginning of the episode. One mentions Top Gun Top Gun and mentions them using the F-16, which is an Air Force plane. In Top Gun, the Navy pilots flew the F-14.
Goof (factual errors): A character says the TEC uses 42 caliber rounds and there is no way to shoot him (standing behind a hostage) without hitting her. A 42 caliber round is between a 40 and 45, both are common handgun rounds and could have been used to hit a suspect in that situation.
Goof (factual errors): In each variation, one character claims the other jumped him and stole his TEC uniform. In each variation, the uniform would have had the wrong name on it for that to be believable- i.e. if Logan had stolen Usher's uniform, it would have Usher's name on it (and vice-versa), since each had the proper uniform on before this happened. Additionally, both men were not close to being the same size, so the uniforms wouldn't have fit well.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): The pirates repeatedly cock their weapons without firing a round. All this would do is eject an unfired round onto the deck. Professional pirates would not make this type of mistake.
Goof (errors made by characters, possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Logan and Maddox are in 1990. Maddox talks about betting on the 1996 World Series, which would not be possible in 1990 since the game was 6 years in the future.
Goof (anachronisms): In 1990, Logan and Hemmings find a ball and glove with the 1996 New York Yankees team signatures. This was not possible as that exact team did not exist in 1990.
