Summary: The wizard Basim wants an artifact called the Helm of Power. It will magnify his magic enormously, and he knows just who can get it for him: Thundarr. Thundarr will never agree to help an evil wizard - until Basim shows him what will happen if he refuses. Thundarr, Ariel and Ookla must find the helm, defeating the minions of Sholow, Skorpos, and Chomm who also want the relic! And, they must figure out how to keep the Helm away from Basim and free the hostages he has threatened to kill. A tall order for anyone... except Thundarr!
