TRIVIA

The "Sonic the Hedgehog" theme is played several times at the arcade hall.
The Astadourian Lightning Observatory is named for Mary Astadourian, chief researcher and office manager at 1013 Productions, as well as Chris Carter (I)'s personal assistant.
There is a sideways shot of Mrs. Kiveat's legs as viewed by D.P.O. from under the car he's working on. This shot is accompanied by the Filter song "Hey Man, Nice Shot" (in a subtle reference to D.P.O.'s admiration of Mrs. Kiveat's legs); Filter's frontman is Richard Patrick, whose older brother Robert later became an "The X Files" (1993) regular.
