Summary: Impersonating Mulder, the Bounty Hunter takes Scully as his hostage. Mulder and Samantha nervously wait for him to contact Mulder to make a trade: Samanta for Scully. Mulder, however, does not want to lose either of them and goes to Skinner for help.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FAKE: (At 29:00) Watch the foot shadows under the door. The first shadow is a right foot, and we can clearly see the shoe. The second foot shadow appears, and then the right hand shadow clearly rotates from left to right. The person who then knocks has their back to the door at the time.
FAKE: (At 28:00) Scully goes to Skinner's office. It's daytime, but Skinner has the window blinds pulled and is working with the help of a reading lamp on his desk.
FAKE: (At 33:00) Mulder starts chasing a guy through the submarine with his torch. He turns left to go down a corridor which is lit at the end of a hidden white light pointing downwards. When Mulder gets to this point, the light goes out, to leave just his torch as the lighting source.
FAKE: In the medical center, the first Samantha clone Mulder meets has a small mark on the right hand side of her neck. The next two do not, but the last clone (not wearing the medical gear) does have the mark.
FACT: At the start we are shown USS Allegiance at a 'cruising' depth of 1000ft. Modern military submarines have maximum dive depths of 820ft to 1300ft. This submarine would not just cruise around near the limit of it's dive capability because of the safety implications and that the stress weakens the hull over time.

TRIVIA

For episode #2.17, "Endgame", Steven Williams (I) (Mr. X) and Mitch Pileggi (A.D. Skinner) improvised their famous elevator fight scene on the spot. During the filming of the sequence Williams actually broke a knuckle on his right hand from punching Pileggi.
