Summary: Five days after the Iowa caucuses Bartlet is still having trouble sleeping so he consults Dr. Stanley Keyworth for treatment, but it becomes more a sobering wake-up for Bartlet. C.J. lobbies for the release of a White House reporter after the reporter is taken hostage in the Congo. Meanwhile, Toby faces off with his ex-wife over an upcoming foreign policy speech; Sam asks Ainsley to review an act that calls for the U.S. to payback loans to the United Nations; and Donna receives a surprising job offer.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

CONT: In the first scene after the theme montage, on Air Force One, the camera shows a TV tuned to a cable news network which indicates the time to be 5:14am - the same time that the teaser scene in Josh's apartment began. As the camera pulls back and pans, with "5:14am" still visible on the TV, a subtitle arrives on our main screen telling us that it is 5:40am.
CHAR: Josh refers to "Bacardi 451", confusing the name of the rum, "Bacardi 151", with the Ray Bradbury novel "Fahrenheit 451".
CHAR: Toby receives a call on Air Force One from Sam who, based on departure time, direction, and air speed, guesses that Toby is over Cumberland, West Virginia. There is no such place; Sam seems to be combining Cumberland, Maryland and New Cumberland, West Virginia. Based on the cities named in the on-board announcement made by the pilot and Sam's statement of the direction Air Force One is flying out of Andrew's Air Force Base, the flight could easy pass over both cities.
