Summary: When a dean at Boatwright University becomes concerned with John Boy's physics grade, he has Lyle, a young genius tutor him. When he asks John Boy to take him home for the weekend to experience family life, Lyle and the rest of the Walton's begin disagreeing, especially when the young man expresses his beliefs regarding religion. When the family starts planning a church bazaar to help out a neighbor, Lyle unexpectedly has to help out, resulting in the Walton's learning that he is actually a nice young man with a good sense of humor.
