Summary: When John Boy has a run in with Sis Bradford, a pretty girl in his chemistry class, things between them start off on the wrong foot, especially since he was in his car and had to swerve to miss hitting her, resulting in a tire on his car becoming damaged. They meet up again when they are getting tutored by their chemistry professor to understand the material and Sis ultimately takes John Boy's notes when his back is turned. After she is done looking at John Boy's notes, she then brings them back to him on the mountain, complete with a gift of a new tire for his car. However, once she arrives, she slips John Boy's notes into Danny's backpack, resulting in his father accusing him of stealing it from John Boy. Everything turns out for the best when Jim Bob announces that his friend was innocent, since he saw Sis place the notes in the backpack.
