Summary: Upon hearing that Mason Beardsley, a friend of Grandpa will be coming to the mountain for a visit, the family starts to get things ready for his arrival. When Mason arrives without his wife, he tells everyone that she'll be arriving in a few days, but ultimately she never does. Ultimately, when Mason's son arrives, the Walton's learn that his wife died two years before and he never accepted her death.
