Summary: When deciding he wants a change in his life, John leaves Walton's Mountain to work in a Norfolk shipyard. However, while John is rooming at a boarding house, a fellow boarder feels that he is vying for the attention of the landlady, Mrs. Champion, John starts to get in trouble. Ultimately, a visit from John Boy helps him realize that where John belongs is on Walton's Mountain.
