Summary: When Miss Hunter has to visit family unexpectedly, the school board hires a young, inexperienced teacher to fill in while she is gone. However, almost immediately the students begin to resent her, because of her strict teaching style. Things continue to go on like this until Olivia steps in to give her some advice about educating the young minds on Walton's Mountain.
