Summary: When Jenny Pendleton, an old school friend of John Boy, comes back to the mountain, they fall in love. But when her father and stepmother follow her there, her father is killed in a car accident, she goes back home with her stepmother. While this is going on, Mary Ellen is trying to make a lot of money raising and selling bullfrogs.
