When he struggles to answer the question he responds by reading graffiti on the wall which read "Locos are scandalous" and replies to Zoot "You're scandalous". However later in the series when Lex is trying to cook for Zandra; Lex reveals to KC that he can't read.

[show]The only characters to appear in and record new dialogue for all 5 series' (excluding archive footage) are Lex, Ebony, Jack, Salene, Trudy and Zoot (Although Zoot's character died in episode 7 of the first series he has appeared in every series after with new dialogue. In series two he appeared in pre-tribe flashbacks and Ebony's nightmares, in series three he appeared as an hallucination to the Guardian, in series four he appears to Ebony in a nightmare and during the cliffhanger during the series finale and in series 5 he appears in Ebony's reality space dreams and as a hologram around the City).
