The Time Tunnel - 01x18 Visitors From Beyond the Stars

Summary: Doug and Tony hurtle from a Pacific Island in 1945 to a futuristic scene - a control complex at least three hundred years beyond their own technology. Then they discover they're on an alien ship whose crew intends to extract all the protein from a nearby primitive planet, leaving it a dead world. On the view screen Doug sees an image of that primitive planet – Earth in 1885! The duo must thwart the alien plan since humans cannot begin to defend themselves!

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FAKE: The stores across the street near the saloon are actually painted on plywood. When the aliens leave the saloon to return to their ship, they cast their shadow on it.

TRIVIA

The language of the aliens is actually English played back in reverse. The original (normal) sentences can be heard throughout the episode. The aliens first line is composed out of: "from this moment on, you exist only" and "vulnerable points". The last aliens dialogue is composed out of: "that there are three alternatives", "primary test objective", "we have studies Earth from a", "has been located", "know its vulnerable points" and "you exist only as a convenience".
