Character Bio
Jimmy Jackson is Freddie's cousin. He's meek and soft-spoken – he's the kind of guy who thinks the best way to run a robbery is to chat softly and quietly with a hostage instead of pistol whipping him. As a result, Jimmy gets mocked by the rest of the gang a lot. Though Jimmy has a lovely life with his fiancee Maggie, Jimmy has one tragic flaw: He idolizes his older cousin Freddie.
When Freddie first gets out of prison, it's Jimmy who immediately takes on the role of picking up the pieces when Freddie flies into a rage. It's Jimmy who can cleverly talk Freddie out of ending up in grave trouble. As Ozzy says, "Freddie is lucky to have someone like you."
Growing up, Jimmy idolized Freddie. But as they've gotten older, Jimmy is starting to understand that Freddie's hair-trigger temper and thirst for power could pose a serious risk for the both of them.
It's clear that the allure of the criminal lifestyle is strong to Jimmy. He justifies taking on greater responsibilities in the organization to Maggie by telling her it's the only way they'll ever afford a nice house. But the further Jimmy sinks into the underworld, the more things head down a brutal path of no return
