The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
The series follows the adventures of the Super Mario Bros. Mario and Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad as they battle the evil King Bowser Koopa and his forces. An episode of "The Legend of Zelda" was shown every Friday where Link, Princess Zelda, and Sprite protect Hyrule and the Triforce of Wisdom fro the evil forces of Gannon.

- According to the interview on Shout! Factory's first DVD box set, Lou Albano had stated that he was not interested in portraying Mario and voicing him at first, but was talked into it by his wife.
- For his role as "Mario" in the live-action segments, Lou Albano shaved his trademark goatee. Instead of wearing a false handlebar mustache, he opted to grow a real one.
