Summary: Steve looks in North California for two missing scientists. Both researchers disappeared without a trace when they put up earthquake sensors. On his search Steve runs into a hairy monster resembling Bigfoot. After a fight with the monster he falls and faints. When Steve awakes again, he finds himself on an operating table being examined by extraterrestrials.

MISTAKES/GOOFS

FAKE: In the ice tunnel The tram-rails used on the Universal Tour are covered with cloth and a forced-perspective miniature has been placed at the far end of the tunnel, which is especially visible as Bigfoot stands before it.
CONT: When the aliens are examining Steve, he is undressed. When they test his bionic eye, he is wearing his shirt for a split second, then he is naked again.

TRIVIA

The rotating ice tunnel featured here was at the time a brand new addition to the Universal Studios Tour called 'The Glacier Avalanche'. It was inspired by The Eiger Sanction (1975), but soon became linked with The Six Million Dollar Man. In 1997 it was redesigned to resemble the dormant volcano from Dante's Peak (1997) and again in 2001 as the entrance to The Mummy's Tomb.
