  • Episode 06 - There is a deleted scene on the DVD that takes place during "The Shinning" in which Bart is riding his skateboard through the halls, turns a corner and sees Sherri and Terri who sing "Your father's gonna kill you!".   • Episode 01 - The song Martin Prince sings is "The Summer Wind" by Frank Sinatra.
  • Episode 09 - Goof (continuity error): At the beginning, Bart's bowl is overflowing with cereal, however, before he even eats any of it, the level of cereal in the bowl is shown as being considerably lower than it was before.
  • Episode 16 - Goof (factual errors): Homer asks for a big beer and the bar tender puts a giant can of Fosters Beer on the counter. While it's possible for the bar to stock Fosters, it is unlikely as it's not widely available and is primarily an export.
  • Episode 18 - Series creator Matt Groening had his name removed in protest from the credits of this episode "A Star Is Burns", in which Jay Sherman from The Critic visits Springfield, because Groening felt that it made the episode into an advertisement for
